RDataMining.com, founded by Dr. Yanchang Zhao in March 2011, is a leading website on R and data mining, providing examples, documents, tutorials, resources and training on data mining and analytics with R. Dr. Zhao also leads an RDataMining LinkedIn Group, which is the biggest online professional group on R and Data Mining.

Dr. Yanchang Zhao is a Principal Research Scientist with CSIRO's Data61. Prior to that, he was a Senior Data Scientist with Australian Government from 2009 to 2016 and then a Data Analytics Lead with IBM Australia in 2017. He has rich experience in R and data mining. He

• • is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the ACM and SIGKDD;

  • is an Adjunct Professor of the University of Canberra;

  • is a Secretary of the ACM SIGKDD ANZ Chapter;

• • is a Founder and Organizer of the Canberra Data Scientists Meetup Group;

  • started his research on data mining since 2001;

  • has been applying data mining in real-world business applications in Australian Government since 2006;

  • is a Steering Committee Member of the Australasian Data Mining Conference (AusDM) since 2012;

  • has been a Program Chair of AusDM 2012-2016 & 2018-2020 and a General Co-Chair of AusDM 2021-2022;

  • is an Assessor for the Australian Research Council (ARC);

  • has been a program committee member for over 100 academic conferences, incl. AAAI 2017-2022, IJCAI 2018-2020, CIKM 2020-2022, PAKDD 2018-2022, ECML PKDD 2015-2018 and KDD 2015-2016 & 2022;
